CARDBOARD COOKING UTENSIL CADDY

After I made the storage and serving container for our church’s flatware and napkins, it occurred to me that we still had no place to store our serving utensils. For this, I pressed an empty cardboard beverage container into service -along with more cardboard and glue! I covered the sides with more torn pieces of cardboard just as I had on the flatware container and stained it in the same manner so that the two would match. There is a metal bottom to this container which I thought could lead to rusting if the utensils were not completely dry before they were returned to the storage caddy. The insertion of an inverted flexible plastic lid just large enough to fit inside on the bottom, makes this caddy more water-resistant and quieter to use.
