UPDATE ON THE SMALL, LOOMED, SWEATER-PURSE

When I made the small drawstring-purse on my home-made loom, I cannot say that I was overly impressed with how it looked. It was wonderfully soft to touch (it was made with chenille yarn!), but it was still kind of plain. I puzzled for some time on how to give it distinction, but I finally took some dark gray yarn from another sweater that I had unraveled and used an embroidery stitch to add these loops and swirls.  It made an incredible difference in its appeal! It became a classy-looking purse that would go very nicely with a small girl’s dress.
