I am taking a break from my investigation of dryer lint to talk about a wonderful use of old concrete! I have a dear friend who discovered a concrete foundation of what was once a small building on her property. She had been planning to make a small garden area behind her house, and the idea came to her that the concrete might make a wonderful “flagstone” style walkway. She asked her husband to break it up for her, and then she moved the newly-made “stones” into place and created this neat garden area! She is still planting her flowers and shrubs (she had been watering when I stopped by to take this photo, and the line in the dirt down the center of the photo was left by the hose), which will make it even more lovely, but I am already impressed with how nicely the old concrete was given new life in her garden!
