CHEAP RECYCLED GIFT BAG

This gift bag is easy to make and reuses the paper shopping bags with handles that some stores give out. These bags would be lovely gift bags if only they did not have a store logo stamped on the front. It is easy to take one of these and using the scraps of wrapping paper left over after wrapping up boxes, cut and glue a piece to the front and back of the bag. In this case I used a scrap of the sweets wrapping paper that I had already made matching gift tags for. I used some white paint around the border of the paper to simulate the icing on the cookies. After it had dried, I simply tied on the gift tag with a couple of strands of jute cord!
